Neeraj Chopra claimed a historic silver medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics on Thursday.
Neeraj registered his season-best throw of 89.45m to finish second.
With this, he joined an elite list of Indian athletes to have won multiple medals at the Olympics.
Neeraj is just the fourth Indian ever to script this record.
PV Sindhu, Sushil Kumar and Manu Bhaker have achieved this feat.
All of them have bagged two Olympic medals each post-independence.
Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem won the gold medal.
Nadeem came up with a record-breaking throw of 92.97m to earn the gold medal.
He also set a new Olympic record on Thursday.
Grenada’s Anderson Peters registered 88.54m to earn the bronze medal.
