On Sunday, the final day of her son Anant Ambani's pre-wedding festivities with Radhika Merchant, Reliance Foundation chairperson Nita Ambani was a vision in saffron. She mesmerised the audience with a special performance on the Vishwambhari Stuti, a sacred hymn dedicated to Maa Ambe, the embodiment of strength and power.
Every Navratri since she was a young child, Nita Ambani has heard the song. Through her performance, she asked Maa Ambe's blessings for Anant and Radhika's path of togetherness.
In addition, she dedicated her performance to all young girls who embody feminine energy, as well as to her granddaughters, Aadiya Shakti and Veda.
Popular playback singer Shreya Ghoshal sang the hymn, while composer team Ajay-Atul supervised the music. Master designer Manish Malhotra created Nita Ambani's outfit, while Vaibhavi Merchant oversaw the choreography. Anil Mehta served as the director of photography, and Ashley Rebello created the dancers' costumes.
Mrs. Nita Ambani gives a moving rendition of the Vishwambhari Stuti, a holy song devoted to Maa Ambe, the symbol of strength and might, while honouring tradition and calling out the divine. The video was posted on Instagram by Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) with a comment that says, "She has been hearing this hymn since her childhood during every Navratri."
