Nitish Kumar Rejoins BJP-led NDA Alliance, Check New Cabinet

Janata Dal (United) president Nitish Kumar took oath as the Bihar Chief Minister on January 29 for the 9th time to form a new government with the BJP.
Nitish Kumar rejoined the Bharatiya Janata Party-led NDA, which he had dumped less than 18 months ago.
Kumar was sworn in by Bihar Governor Rajendra Arlekar at Raj Bhavan in the presence of senior leaders including BJP national president J P Nadda.
Earlier in the day, JD(U) chief Kumar handed his resignation to Governor Rajendra Arlekar and announced his party’s exit from the 28-party Opposition’s I.N.D.I.A bloc.
Along with Nitish Kumar, several leaders of the BJP, JD(U), Hindustan Awam Morcha and an Independent legislator took the oath.
BJP leader and former Bihar Speaker Vijay Kumar Sinha took oath as a Cabinet minister in the newly-formed Bihar government.
Janata Dal (United) leaders Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Vijendra Yadav, and Shrawan Kumar also took oath as Cabinet ministers.
Former Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi-led Hindustan Awam Morcha's Santosh Kumar Suman and Independent legislator Sumit Singh were also inducted into Nitish Kumar's Cabinet.
BJP's Prem Kumar was also sworn in as one of the cabinet ministers.
