Oxford Economics recently released its first-ever Global Cities Index 2024. The index contains five categories with each category comprising multiple indicators.

The Economics category comprises six indicators – GDP size, GDP growth, GDP per person, Employment growth, economic stability, and economic diversity. Take a look at the top 10 cities by economics.

Economic Score: 100.0

GDP: $2.3 trillion

2. LOS ANGELES, US

Economic Score: 97.0

GDP: $1.3 trillion

3. SAN JOSE, US

Economic Score: 95.3

GDP: $475 billion

4. SEATTLE, US

Economic Score: 91.4

GDP: $558 billion

5. SAN FRANCISCO, US

Economic Score: 91.2

GDP: $778 billion

6. DALLAS, US

Economic Score: 90.2

GDP: $742 billion

7. LONDON, UK

Economic Score: 86.4

GDP: $1.0 trillion

8. CHICAGO, US

Economic Score: 86.1

GDP: $869 billion

9. PARIS, FRANCE

Economic Score: 85.8
