Babar Azam will be in action for Pakistan after 2 months during a two-match Test series against Bangladesh on Aug 21.
During the first Test, he will have a chance to create history and become the first Pakistani to score 4000 runs in all three formats of cricket.
He has crossed 4000 runs in both T20Is and ODIs and is just 102 runs away from achieving the feat in Tests as well.
Babar Azam scored 5729 runs in 117 ODIs and 4145 runs in 123 T20Is for the Men in Green.
If he achieves that in Test as well, he will become the third batter in the world to do so, after Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
Virat was the first batter in the world to attain the feat. He did it during the T20 World Cup 2022 semi-final vs England.
Rohit joined Virat on the list during the T20 World Cup 2024 match between India and Ireland on June 5.
Virat currently has 8848 runs in Tests, 13906 runs in ODIs, and 4188 runs in T20Is. Rohit has scored 4137 in Tests, 10866 in ODIs, and 4231 in T20Is.
