Toys with small parts  Some toys often contain small parts that can get stuck to a child's throat or ear or any other part of the body. In most cases it can be hazardous for the child. 

Cheap or low-quality toys Cheap quality toys often made of plastic can pose health hazards to young children as these contain lead, BPA and other harmful substances. 

Electronic devices  We are surrounded by electronic devices and it is important to keep your child away from them as they can lead to several issues. Weak eyesight and slow mental development are some of the side effects of too much screen time. 

Overly complex toys Toys that are too advanced for small children can lead to frustration rather than enjoyment. It is best to check the recommended age for the toy. 

Violent or aggressive items  Toys that are overly violent or aggressive can make the child go through similar emotions and actions. These can influence behaviour and attitude.

Sugary snacks and beverages Snacks like cakes, pastries and sodas that contain a high amount of sugar are bad for children's health. These should be avoided for the long term. 

Uncomfortable clothes Avoid giving clothing items to children that are hard for them to put on or take off independently. Also scratchy materials or tight clothes should be avoided.

Gifts that encourage competition  Gifts that promote competition will isolate them. Instead, look for items that promote cooperation and teamwork.

Toys with excessive noise Buying toys that make loud noises are bad for the child's sensitive ears. It is often overwhelming and also disturbs others.
