Despite the scheduled maintenance, the Passport Seva portal resumed services on 1st September, a day earlier than expected.
Many users took to social media to express their frustration, reporting that the portal was still experiencing issues after maintenance.
Several users shared screenshots of internal server errors and long loading times, highlighting ongoing technical problems.
Reports of unauthorized logouts added to user dissatisfaction, with many finding it difficult to complete their tasks on the portal.
Social media was flooded with criticisms of the service, with users calling out the poor maintenance and questioning the reliability of the portal.
Although maintenance was completed early, many users reported that the portal’s performance was still subpar, leading to continued frustration.
The downtime disrupted pre-booked appointments, with users receiving rescheduling notifications, further complicating their travel plans.
Users criticised the lack of clear communication about the ongoing issues, demanding updates and transparency from the authorities.
Despite the website issues, users were reminded that they could still access services through the mPassport Seva mobile app.
