PM Modi arrived in Dimapur's Chumoukedima district to address a public rally for the BJP-NDPP ahead of Nagaland Assembly elections.

The Chief Minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio, congratulates Prime Minister Narendra Modi prior to his public speech in Dimapur on February 24.

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said BJP's interested in Nagaland's future, and its relationship with NDPP is shown by important leaders' visits to the state, including PM Modi.

PM Modi remarked that the presence of a BJP government in Tripura led to peaceful Assembly elections for the first time in many years.

The alliance between BJP and NDPP will compete in all the 60 seats of the House.

In the last week, BJP President J.P. Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah held election rallies in in the state.
