On February 14, 2019, at approximately 3:00 AM, tragedy struck as terrorists targetted a convoy of 78 vehicles carrying around 2,500 CRPF personnel from Jammu to Srinagar.

Using an SUV packed with 200 kilograms of explosives, they unleashed devastation.

The toll was staggering: 40 CRPF personnel lost their lives, with 35 more suffering severe injuries.

Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) claimed responsibility for the cowardly act.

India's response was swift and resolute.

Twelve days later, on February 26, the Indian Air Force conducted precision strikes on the Jaish-e-Mohammed camp in Balakot, Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, aiming to dismantle the terrorist infrastructure.
