What’s a festival without sweets? For all you diet-conscious, here are some sugar-free and low-calorie dessert recipes you can try at home to celebrate the festival.
Amaranth seeds (popped) - 50 gm Melted jaggery - 50 ml Almond - 30 gm
Add all the ingredients to a bowl. Make small balls by mixing them well. Garnish with some saffron and serve.
Oats - 1 cup Milk - 1/2 litre Dates - 5 Almonds - A few Banana - 1 Cardamoms - 2 Raisins - A few
Roast the oats in a pan. Add milk, dates, almonds, raisins, and cardamom to a kadhai and bring it to a boil. Add oats later and boil it till it becomes thick. Lastly, add banana pieces for garnishing and serve.
Quinoa - 50 gm Unsweetened almond milk - 200 ml Stevia - 8 gm Cardamom powder - 1 tsp Saffron strands - A few Almonds and pistachios - A few
Soak quinoa in water for some time. Cook it for some time in a pan. Once it becomes soft, add almond milk, stevia, saffron, and cardamom. Stir it, garnish with almonds and pistachios, and serve.
