Ornaments Worn by Ram Lalla 

From Ram Lalla's mukut to attire, here's a look at divine ornaments worn by Ram Lalla.

Mukut

Ram Lalla's mukut or the crown is made of gold and adorned with rubies, emeralds, and diamonds. It also features an emblem of Surya Dev at the centre of it.

Tilak

The tilak on Ram Lall's forehead is traditional, made of diamonds and rubies.

Kundal

Earrings follow the same design and are adorned with peacock motifs. They complement the mukut featuring gold, diamonds, rubies, and emeralds.

Kantha

The neck is graced by a crescent-shaped necklace. It features floral designs symbolising good fortune, with an image of Surya Dev at its centre. 

Padika

It is a necklace worn below the throat and above the navel. It is a five-stranded necklace made of diamonds and emeralds.

Mudrika

Rings adorned with gems and featuring dangling pearls are worn on both hands.

Kangan

Beautiful gem-studded bangles are worn on both hands.

Kanch or Kardhani

It is a gem-studded waistband made of gold and decorated with diamonds, rubies, pearls, and emeralds.

Vaijayanti or Vijaymala

It is the third and longest necklace made of gold and intermittently studded with rubies. It is worn as a symbol of victory and features the Sudarshan Chakra, Lotus, Shankh, and Mangal Kalash. 

Gold Bow

In the left hand is a gold bow adorned with pearls, rubies, and emeralds. The right-hand holds a golden arrow.

Chhada or Painjaniya

The feet are adorned with gem-studded anklets and toe rings.

Attire

The idol is adorned in Banarasi fabric, featuring a yellow dhoti and a red pataka/angavastram, embellished with pure gold zari and threads.

Kaustubha Mani

The idol is adorned in Banarasi fabric, featuring a yellow dhoti and a red pataka/angavastram, embellished with pure gold zari and threads.

Bhujbandh

These are armlets on both arms, studded with gold and precious stones.

Toys

The idol is in the form of a five-year-old child (Ram Lalla), and traditional toys made of silver are placed.

 Umbrella

A beautiful golden umbrella is placed over the idol's halo.
