Ram Navami  2024:  Delicious Sooji Ka Halwa Recipe

The last and ninth day of Chaitra Navratri is also celebrated as Ram Navami, marking the birth anniversary of Lord Ram. This year, Ram Navami will be observed on April 17, 2024.

Sooji halwa is a traditional bhog recipe that is made on Ram Navami. It is made along with dry chana and puris for the kanjak puja.

Here's an easy and quick recipe to make delicious sooji ka halwa this Ram Navami 2024

Ingredients

Ghee - 1 cup Sooji (semolina) - 1 cup Sugar - 1 cup Cardamom - 1 tsp Milk - 1 cup Dry fruits - 1/2 cup Water (if needed)

Take a kadhai and add ghee and sooji to it. Stir it thoroughly.

Add sugar and cardamom and mix them well.

Now add milk and dry fruits. Whisk them thoroughly. You can also add some water if needed.

Cover the pan for a while and let the mixture boil.

After some time, open the pan and mix thoroughly. Add some ghee and more dry fruits to the halwa and mix well.

Sooji halwa is ready, serve hot with garnishing of crushed dry fruits.
