Reliance Q3 results: Top highlights

Reliance Industries Ltd, India's most valuable company, reported consolidated net profit of ₹17,265 crore for the October - December period.

This is in comparison to the ₹17,394 crore profit it reported during the September quarter and the ₹15,792 crore profit it reported during the same quarter last year.

EBITDA for the quarter grew 15% from last year to ₹40,656 crore from ₹35,247 crore it reported during the same quarter last year.

Reliance's O2C business reported revenue of ₹1.41 lakh crore compared to ₹1.44 lakh crore it reported during the same period last year and ₹1.48 lakh crore during the September quarter.

Capital Expenditure for the Dec '23 quarter was ₹30,102 crore ($3.6 billion) with investments in pan-india 5G roll-out, expansion of retail infrastructure and new energy business.

Reliance Retail delivered gross revenue of ₹83,040 crore for 3Q FY24, a growth of 22.8% Y-o-Y led by grocery, fashion & lifestyle and consumer electronics businesses.

The business posted an EBITDA of ₹6,258 crore which was up by 31.1% on a Y-o-Y basis. EBITDA before Investment Income was recorded at ₹6,061 crore, up 30.1% on a Y-o-Y basis.

Reliance Retail expanded its store network opening 252 new store and taking the total store count to 18,774 stores with an area of 72.9 million sq ft.

Reliance Jio Infocomm saw a sequential profit growth of 3% at ₹5,208 crore for the October to December 2023 quarter.

Jio Platforms Gross Revenue for the quarter was at a record high of ₹32,510 crore, up 11.4% Y-o-Y.

Jio Platforms' EBITDA for the quarter stood at ₹13,955 crore, up 11.5% Y-o-Y.

•Jio's ARPU increased 2.0% YoY to ₹181.7 with better subscriber mix partially offset by unlimited data allowance on 5G network.
