His last half-century of IPL also came against CSK in 2021.
This latest knock is Pant’s first 50-plus score in competitive cricket in 464 days.
Pant had been out of action for 14 months.
He met with a major road accident in December 2022.
Pant is now aiming to recapture his place in India squad ahead of T20 World Cup.
Pant has aggregated 79 runs in his two appearances so far in IPL 2024.
