The initiative aims to cut travel time by about an hour, following the route via Panvel Nhava Sheva Sewree Marg.
In order to maintain affordability for passengers, there will be no change in the fare for Shivneri buses traveling between Mumbai and Pune via Atal Setu.
Built at cost of about ₹17,840 crore, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the MTHL on January 12, 2024. It is longest bridge in India and also the longest sea bridge in the country.
