5 Youngest Captains To Lead India in T20Is

Suresh Raina (23 Years)

At 23 years and 197 days, Suresh Raina became the youngest captain of the Indian cricket team in the shortest format of the game.

He led Team India in India's tour of Zimbabwe in June 2010 at Harare. India won the two-match series.

Rishabh Pant (24 Years)

The wicketkeeper-batsman is the second-youngest T20 captain of India. He led India in India's opening T20I against South Africa on June 9.

KL Rahul was previously named captain in India's Delhi clash against SA, but Rishabh replaced him owing to his injury.

Shubman Gill (24 Years)

During the Zimbabwe tour, Shubman Gill will lead India for the first time in a T20I. With that, he will become India's third-youngest T20I captain.
