Shubman Gill made his IPL debut  in IPL 2018 during KKR vs SRH match at Eden Gardens. Gill had an uneventful debut as he scored 3 off 9 balls batting at no.7.

Shubman Gill stayed with KKR for four seasons in which he played 58 matches made 1,417 runs at an average of 31.49 and a strike rate of 123.00, with 10 fifties.
