In Gill’s absence, Mayank Agarwal will lead India A.
KL Rahul, Dhruv Jurel, Kuldeep Yadav and Akash Deep are some other notable absentees.
These four players have also been named in India’s opening Test squad.
For India B, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rishabh Pant will miss the Duleep Trophy 2024 action.
Selectors named Suyash Prabhudessai and Rinku Singh as replacements.
Pacer Yash Dayal earned his maiden national call-up.
India D’s Axar Patel will also join the Indian Test team.
The India all-rounder has been replaced by Nishant Sindhu.
