Upma is a delicious and light South Indian breakfast dish. Try this simple and healthy rava upma recipe at home.
Semolina/rava - 250 gm Water - As needed Ghee - 1 cup Mustard seeds - 2 tsp Black gram dal - 1 tsp Bengal gram dal - 1 tsp Onion, chopped - 1 Green chillies, chopped - 2 Cashew nuts - 1/2 cup Curry leaves - 5 to 6 Salt - As per taste
Heat some ghee in a pan and add mustard seeds and dals.
Add the boiling water and stir rapidly with the salt.

When the moisture is absorbed, the upma is cooked.
Mix well and garnish with grated coconut and coriander leaves.
