South Indian Pepper Chicken Recipe

Ingredients: 1 kg chicken, 1 tbsp grated ginger, 1 tbsp grated garlic, 1 ½ tsp turmeric, 2 tsp coconut oil

Ingredients: 10 curry leaves, 2 green chilli, 1 chopped onion, 2 chopped tomatoes, 1 ½ tsp salt

2 tbsp coriander powder, 3 tsp peppercorns, 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 inch cinnamon, 1 tsp fennel seeds, ½ tbsp poppy seeds, 3 cloves, 2 dried red chilli

Marinate the chicken with turmeric, salt, and ginger garlic paste.

Blend the whole spices in a coarse powder.

Saute onion, green chilli, and curry leaves in oil.

Add the spice powder, and chopped tomatoes. Once cooked, add in the chicken.

Add water and salt. Let it simmer for 30 minutes.

Garnish with coriander leaves.
