Spain Qualify For Euro 2024 Quarterfinals After 4-1 Win Over Georgia
Spain came from a goal behind to beat Georgia in
the
Euro 2024 round of 16 tie.
Georgia took the lead in the 18th minute, courtesy of Robin Le Normand's own goal.
This was the first goal La Roja conceded in the competition.
The Spanish side found the equaliser just six minutes before half-time.
Manchester City midfielder Rodri scored the crucial equaliser for Spain.
Spanish midfielder Fabian Ruiz scored in the 51st minute to earn a 2-1 lead.
Nico Williams earned a two-goal cushion for his side in the 75th minute.
Substitute Dani Olmo extended the lead late in the fixture.
The three-time champions will next face Germany in the quarterfinals in Stuttgart on Friday.
