Marinate the chicken with salt, turmeric powder, and red chilli powder. Set aside for 15–20 minutes.
In a pan, heat oil on medium heat. Sauté curry leaves, slit green chillies, and onions.
Add ginger-garlic paste to the pan and sauté for 2–3 minutes, until the raw smell disappears.
Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook on medium high heat for 5–6 minutes, until lightly browned.
Sprinkle black pepper powder and garam masala over the chicken. Mix well and cook for another 10–12 minutes.
Taste and adjust salt or add more pepper if you prefer extra spice. Cook until the chicken is tender and coated with spices.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti. Enjoy this spicy Andhra-Style Pepper Chicken.
