Sri Lanka’s Winning Streak Over England In World Cup  Since 2007

Sri Lanka have recorded a 5-match unbeaten streak against England in the ODI World Cup. 

The latest victory came in Bengaluru during the ongoing World Cup.

Sri Lanka notched an 8-wicket victory in the low-scoring clash. 

The Islanders began the winning spree over England in 2007. 

Sri Lanka won the Super-Eight fixture by 2 runs.

In 2011, Sri Lanka registered a commanding 10-wicket victory in the quarter-final.

They also got the better of England in the tournament opener in 2015.

With their top order in sublime form, Sri Lanka claimed a 9-wicket victory.

England became the champions in 2019 but couldn’t turn the tables against Sri Lanka.

The Asian side secured a 20-run win in a group face-off.
