Steve Smith scored a fabulous century in the 3rd Test against India.
Smith produced a fine knock of 101 in the 1st innings of the Adelaide Test.
It was Smith’s 33rd Test century.
With this, he managed to overtake a massive record held by Steve Waugh.
Smith has now surpassed Waugh to become Australia’s second-highest Test centurion.
Waugh scored 32 Test tons in 168 matches.
The top spot is occupied by Ricky Ponting with 41 Test hundreds under his belt.
Smith also broke Ponting’s record of scoring most international centuries against India.
Ponting hit 14 international hundreds against India.
Smith now has 15 international tons to his name while playing against India.
