Australia crushed Namibia in their third T20 World Cup 2024 match on Tue (June 11), making their way to the Super 8.
They restricted Namibia to 72, before chasing the target within powerplay, registering a nine-wicket win.
Australian openers David Warner and Travis Head put up more than half the runs needed to win. Warner scored 20 (8) and Head remained unbeaten at 34 (17).
After Warner's dismissal by Wiese, skipper Mitchell Marsh finished the game in just 5.4 overs with 18* off 9.
Earlier, Adam Zampa anchored in crushing Namibia with his four-for, conceding just 12 runs.
Skipper Gerhard Erasmus' 36 off 43 was the top score for his side. As for the other batters, none went past the 10 runs.
Josh Hazlewood and Marcus Stoinis picked up two wickets to get Namibia bundled out for 72 in 17 overs.
