T20 World Cup 2024: Venues that will host matches in ninth edition of showpiece event
With the ICC having announced the schedule for the 2024 T20 World Cup that will be jointly hosted by the West Indies and USA, we take a look at the nine venues that will host the 55 matches
The Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados will host nine matches, including the final on 29 June
The Providence Stadium will host six matches, including the first semi-final on 26 June
The Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Tarouba, Trinidad and Tobago will host five matches, including the second semi-final on 27 June
New York City’s Nassau County Stadium, which yet to come up, will host some of the biggest matches, including the blockbuster India-Pakistan clash on 9 June
The Central Broward Regional Park Stadium in Lauderhill, Florida will host four matches, including the India vs Canada match on 15 June
The Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas, Texas will host four matches including the tournament opener between USA and Canada on 1 June
Coming back to the Caribbean, Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound, Antigua, will host eight matches including four Super 8 clashes
The Daren Sammy Stadium in Gros Islet, St Lucia will host six matches, including three fixtures in the Super 8s
The Arnos Vale Ground in Kingstown, St Vincent hosts five games, including two matches in the Super 8s
