T20 World Cup 2024: India Allotted Guyana Semi-Final on June 27

Team India will play their first T20 World Cup 2024 match against Ireland on June 5 in New York. It will start at 8 pm IST.

India's potential second semi-final in the Men's T20 World Cup 2024 is scheduled for June 27 in Providence, Guyana, if they qualify for the knockout stage.

The Guyana semi-final will start at 8 pm IST, which might have been fixed keeping in mind India's TV-friendly time slot.

The first semi-final in Tarouba, Trinidad, is a night game, set to be played from 6 am IST on June 27.

The final will take place in Bridgetown, Barbados on June 29, 7.30 pm IST, with no reserve day for the second semi-final.

The second semi-final has 250 minutes of extra time for potential weather interruptions.

Unlike regular T20 matches, shortened games in knockouts will require each team to bat for at least ten overs.

This rule was also applied in the T20 World Cup 2022 semi-finals and final.
