Uganda bundled Papua New Guinea for a low total of 77 in 19.1 overs, before chasing it down in 18.2 overs in Providence, Guyana on Thur (June 6).
Four Ugandan bowlers took two PNB wickets each, with Frank Nsubuga and Juma Miyagi recording stellar figures of 2/4 (4) and 2/10 (4) respectively.
Owing to the Ugandan bowlers' thrashing, no PNG batter could reach the 20-run mark. Hiri Hiri's 15 off 19 is the top score for the side.
In the second innings, Juma Miyagi contributed with the bat as well, scoring 13 off 16.
After the top-order demolition, Riazat Ali Shah top-scored with 33 off 56. He was named the player of the match.
Besides Miyagi and Shah's contribution, Alpesh Ramjani and Kenneth Waiswa's single-digit runs were enough to reach the target of 78, with 10 balls to spare.
With two consecutive losses against West Indies and Uganda, Papua New Guinea are hopeful of registering their first win of the tournament in their next.
