Ingredients for the dough Maida - 300 gm Oil - 2 tsp Vinegar - 1 tsp Salt (As per taste) Water (As required)
Ingredients for the filling Onions, chopped - 1/2 cup Besan - 1 tbsp Peas - 1 cup Dhania powder - 1 tsp Cumin powder - 1 tsp Red chilli powder - 1 tsp Garam masala - 1 tsp Haldi - 1/2 tsp Oil - 2 tsp Dry mango powder - 1/2 tsp Salt (As per taste)
Step 1 Prepare the dough for the air fryer kachori. Add maida, salt, oil, and vinegar to a bowl and mix well. Gradually add water and combine everything together to form a smooth dough.
Step 2 Keep the dough aside for 5 minutes, then oil your hands and knead it again for a minute or two. Transfer the dough to a bowl, cover it with a wet cloth, and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Step 3 For the filling, heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions to it. Saute until they turn golden brown, and then add all the dry masalas. Roast for a few seconds before adding in the besan.
Step 4 Now, add the matar and salt and cook again for a minute. Take off the heat and mash the mixture with the back of a spoon. Divide the dough into equal-sized portions and roll them out using a rolling pin.
Step 5 Take a rolled-out dough ball and place the prepared filling in the centre. Seal the edges nicely, forming a kachori shape.
Step 6 Preheat your air fryer to 360 degrees for 5 minutes. Place the kachoris in the air fryer basket and brush them with a little bit of ghee.
Step 7 Your kachori is ready, serve it with curd, pickle, or chutney.
