Tasty Tomato Oats Recipe For Weight Loss

   2 tbsp ghee    1 tsp cumin    1 inch ginger    2 chillis, chopped    1 onion, chopped    1 bay leaf    ½ tsp turmeric    ¾ tsp chilli powder    ½ tsp coriander powder    ½ tsp garam masala    2 tomatoes, chopped    1 tsp salt    2 tbsp peas    4 cups water    1½ cup rolled oats    2 tbsp coriander, chopped

Firstly, in a large kadai heat 2 tbsp ghee. add 1 tsp cumin, 1 inch ginger, 2 chilli and saute until they turn aromatic.

Add 1 onion, 1 bay leaf and saute until the onion softens.

Further keeping the flame on low, add ½ tsp turmeric, ¾ tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp coriander powder, ½ tsp garam masala and saute until the spices turn aromatic.

Now add 2 tomato, 1 tsp salt and cook till the tomato turn soft and mushy. Add 2 tbsp peas and 4 cup water. Mix and get the water to a boil.

Add in 1½ cup rolled oats and mix well. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the oats soften completely.

Add in 2 tbsp coriander and mix well. Enjoy the tomato oats recipe with raita and pickle.
