Tata Motors teases the Altroz Racer’s exterior and exhaust note in a pre-launch video.
The car features a bright orange colour with a black roof, racing stripes, and ‘Racer’ badges.
The Altroz Racer is expected to have segment-first features like an electric sunroof with voice assist.
Other features include ventilated leatherette seats, wireless charger, air purifier and 10.25-inch touchscreen.
The Altroz Racer will have a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine from the Nexon.
The engine churns out 120PS and 170Nm. Tata is expected to offer the Racer only with manual transmission.
It competes with the Hyundai i20 N Line, which has a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine.

The Altroz Racer is expected to be priced higher than the iTurbo, which ranges from ₹9.20 lakh to ₹10.10 lakh.
