Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva won several awards at the 70th National Awards.
Director Ayan Mukerji had confirmed plans for Brahmastra Part 2 and Part 3 on Instagram.
So far, only two actors have been confirmed for Brahmastra Part 2.
Ranbir will be returning as Shiva, who wields fire astra.
Ranveer Singh has also been confirmed to play play Dev, Shiva's father.
Reports suggest that Deepika Padukone will play Amrita, Shiva’s mother.
Other potential returnees for the sequel include Alia, Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna Akkineni.
The first part ended with Shiva gaining the Brahmastra and releasing his father.
Last year, Ranbir hinted that shooting for part two might start in late 2024 or early 2025.
The sequel is titled Brahmāstra: Part Two – Dev and will release in December 2026.
