Threads, Meta’s Twitter rival, has made a big splash upon its debut.
Within hours of its release, several celebrities had already joined the platform.
This is because Meta used the Instagram user base to quickly bring people to the platform.
Not only did it make it simple for people to connect with all of their Instagram followers right away, but it also allowed users to use the same username they use on Instagram.
When you open the Threads app for the first time, Threads will give you an option to log in with your Instagram account. Tap on that.
Next, Threads will give you the option to Import your Bio, Profile Name, and Links from your Instagram account.
Post that—choose if you would like to follow all the accounts that you are already following on Instagram.
You can also choose the people you want to follow individually, if you don’t want to follow everyone.
In the past, new social media platforms have often failed because they did not have the ‘people’ to get started. However, Threads seem to be different.
