The film follows the events of SRK's Pathaan and Hrithik Roshan's War. It also features cameos from the two actors as their characters
Despite the buzz around the film, it failed to break Pathaan's Day 1 record. Pathaan earned Rs. 57 crore on day 1. It also became the 1st Hindi film to cross Rs. 100 crore globally on its opening day
Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan's War opened with collection of Rs. 53.35 crore on its first day. It was the highest opening day collection for Hindi film
The film is expected to pave the way for War 2 first and then the rumoured Tiger vs Pathaan spy film
