Around 3 lakh laddus are prepared daily in the temple’s special kitchen called ‘Potu’. The process involves traditional techniques and dedicated temple staff.

Only the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) can make and sell the laddus. Any unauthorised selling outside the temple premises is illegal.

The Tirupati Laddu is sold at a subsidised price of Rs. 50 for devotees. This is made possible through donations and strict cost management by TTD.

Devotees often use these laddus as offerings during various religious ceremonies. It’s also customary to share them with friends and family after visiting the temple.
