The global gender gap score for 146 countries included in the World Economic Forum (WEF) global gender gap report 2023 stands at 68.4% closed in 2023, according to the WEF.

The overall score changed from 68.1% to 68.4%, an improvement of 0.3 percentage points compared to 2022.

Although none of the 146 countries in the Index has yet achieved full gender parity, the top 9 countries have closed at least 80% of their gap. Here’s a look at the world’s top 10 most gender-equal countries.
