International investment migration firm Henley & Partners in partnership with global wealth intelligence firm New World Wealth released the list of richest cities in the world for 2023. Here’s a look at the top 10.
New York tops the list as the wealthiest in the world with 340,000 millionaires.
Tokyo ranks second with 290,300 resident high net worth individuals.
The Bay Area is the third richest with 285,000 HNWIs.
London ranks fourth with 258,000 resident millionaires.
Singapore sits in the fifth place with 240,100 resident HNWIs.
The sixth wealthiest city is Los Angeles with 205,400 millionaires.
Hong Kong takes the seventh spot with 129,500 HNIWs.
Beijing ranks eighth with 128,200 resident millionaires.
Shanghai is the ninth richest with 127,200 millionaires.
Sydney ranks tenth with 126,900 HNIWs.
India’s Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, & Hyderabad ranks 21, 36, 60, 63, & 65 respectively.
