Maruti Swift emerged as the top-selling car in India in August 2023, according to the latest data from the SIAM. The Swift, with its sporty design and impressive performance, topped the charts.

The Swift, with its sporty design and impressive performance, topped the charts with 18,653 units sold, capturing a market share of 12.99%.
The Baleno, known for its spacious interiors and advanced features, was a close second with 18,516 units sold and a market share of 12.90%.
The WagonR, a family favorite for its practicality and affordability, sold 15,578 units, securing a market share of 10.85%.
The Brezza, a compact SUV with robust looks and great mileage, sold 14,572 units and held a market share of 10.15%.
The Punch from Tata Motors, with its bold stance and high ground clearance, sold 14,523 units and grabbed a market share of 10.12%.
The Creta, Hyundai’s stylish and feature-packed SUV, sold 13,832 units and had a market share of 9.64%.
The Dzire, Maruti’s popular compact sedan with plush interiors, sold 13,293 units and had a market share of 9.26%.
The Ertiga, Maruti’s versatile MPV ideal for large families, sold 12,315 units and held a market share of 8.58%.
The Fronx, known for its compact size and efficient performance, sold 12,164 units and secured a market share of 8.47%.
The EECO, Maruti’s economical multi-purpose vehicle, rounded off the list with 11,859 units sold and a market share of 8.26%.
