U-19 World Cup: Reliving Team India's unbeaten journey to final

Team India pulled off a thrilling two-wicket victory over South Africa to reach the U-19 World Cup final for a fifth consecutive time

India were staring at the prospect of flying back home after losing four wickets for 32 runs in their chase of 245, before Sachin Dhas and Uday Saharan came to their rescue with a 171-run stand

Ahead of what will be India’s ninth appearance in the final of the U-19 World Cup, we take a look at their journey so far

India began their campaign with an 84-run victory over Bangladesh, the team that had defeated them recently in the semi-finals of the Youth Asia Cup

India would then breeze through the group stage with victories over Ireland and United States by identical 201-run margins

India were just as ruthless in the Super Sixes, thrashing 1998 runners-up New Zealand by 214 runs and Nepal by 132 runs to storm into the semi-finals, where they would end up facing their toughest test yet

The defending champions face either Australia or Pakistan in the final, with the two sides set to lock horns in the second semi-final on Thursday, 8 February
