England great James Anderson reckons former Indian skipper Virat Kohli as the best white-ball batter.
As per him, Kohli, whom he has faced in 36 Test innings, is the best chaser in the history of the game.
Anderson heaped such praises for Kohli in the Tailenders podcast. He also marveled at Kohli's astounding numbers during chasing.
Kohli scored 305 runs against the pacer at an average of 43.57 while being dismissed seven times.
Besides Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah also received praise from a former cricketer. Ricky Ponting lauded him in the latest ICC review.
Ponting said Bumrah has "probably been the best multi-format bowler there's been in world cricket for the last five or six years."
Ponting believes Bumrah has come back better than before, despite his injuries in 2022.
He talked about Bumrah showing similar great skills in the T20 World Cup 2024 and also about great batters considering facing him a "nightmare".
"When you've got that skill set and the consistency that he (Bumrah) has, then you're going to be a great player," said Ponting.
