PM Modi received a very special welcome in Dubai!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi proposed that his country host the COP33 climate summit in the year 2028.

He also launched the Green Credit initiative that focuses on creating carbon sinks through people’s participation

Modi said India achieved its emission intensity targets 11 years ahead of its committed time frame and is on track to achieve its Nationally Determined Contribution targets.

Modi thanked UAE President Mohamed Bin Zayed and UN Secretary General António Guterres

PM also met Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum of UAE and commended his visionary leadership on a wide range of issues on X

He also came across UK Foreign Secretary David Cameron and former UK PM Tony Blair
