Rishi Sunak, one of the finalists in the race to become UK’s prime minister, was recently spotted performing gau pooja (cow worship) in London.

A video going viral on social media platforms showed Sunak & his wife Akshata Murthy performing the gau pooja.

Sunak was seen performing an aarti with Akshata, who is also the daughter of Infosys founder NR Narayan Murthy, with a brass tumbler in his hand & offering holy water to the cow.

Suank also visited the Bhaktivedanta Manor temple to celebrate Janmashtami, photos of which the British PM candidate shared on his Instagram.

Sunak was seen to be taking blessings of Lord Krishna along with his wife Akshata.
