Germany ranks third globally with 69,459 MW installed in 2023, maintaining a steady 7.6% growth rate from 2013 to 2023.

India’s Renewable Push

India is fourth with 44,736 MW capacity in 2023, showing a 9.3% growth rate, highlighting its ongoing commitment to wind energy.

Spain’s Steady Performance

Spain is fifth in wind capacity with 31,028 MW in 2023, growing at 3.1% annually, reflecting consistent renewable energy development.

UK’s Expanding Capacity

The UK ranks sixth, with 30,215 MW installed in 2023 and a 10.4% annual growth rate, underscoring its focus on wind power.

Brazil’s Rapid Growth

Brazil is seventh with 29,135 MW in 2023, showcasing the fastest growth rate of 29.5% among the top wind power countries.

France’s Wind Growth

France ranks eighth with 22,196 MW capacity in 2023, growing at 10.5% annually, driven by expanding onshore and offshore projects.

Canada and Sweden’s Rise

Canada and Sweden close the top ten with capacities of 16,989 MW and 16,252 MW, growing at 8.1% and 14.5%, respectively.
