Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) won the 2024 Women’s Premier League (WPL) title at Delhi's Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday.

RCB defeated Delhi Capitals by 8 wickets in the final, as they folded DC to a paltry 113 in 18.3 overs.

After the win, RCB's official social media account had uploaded the perfect victory post.

Off-spin all-rounder Shreyanka Patil shone with a 4-wicket haul while Sophie Molineux took 3 wickets as RCB bowled out DC for just 113.

Former RCB men’s team captain Virat Kohli made a video call to Smriti Mandhana to congratulate the women’s brigade.

Virat also took to Instagram to post a story regarding the win, referring to the winning team as 'superwomen'.

Skipper Smriti Mandhana's 31 after her opening partner Sophie Devine smashed 32 were major contributors in RCB's win.

Ellyse Perry saw her team through with a 35, leading the Bengaluru-based franchise to record their first-ever Premiere League win.
