This North Indian food is basically a crispy, salty biscuit that is frequently spiced with carom (ajwain) or cumin (jeera) seeds.
Ingredients Ragi flour - 1.5 cup Ghee - 1/3 cup Jaggery powder - 1/4 cup Cardamom Powder - 1/2 tbsp
Step 1 Roast some ragi flour in a pan.
Step 2 Add ghee to the flour, Mix Well, and Roast the flour for another 5 to 7 minutes.
Step 3 Once the flour is well roasted with ghee darken its colour and turn off the flame.
Step 4 Add cardamom powder and jaggery powder. Mix it well in the pan till it is hot. Ensure there are no lumps.
Step 5 Transfer the mix to the plate and start making modak with the help of modak moulds.
